Siddharth De Souza
Principal Investigator
Siddharth is an Assistant Professor in AI and society at the University of Warwick. His research interests include studying developments in law and technology from a legal pluralist, data justice, and decolonial perspective. Siddharth is also founder at Justice Adda.
Philip Alexander
Legal Analyst
Philip is a Master’s in Law candidate at King’s College, London, where he focuses on public and private international law and technology.
Mercy Lio​​
Research & Data Analyst
Mercy is a research assistant on the DLRT team, focused on collecting and organizing data, database design, and website development and maintenance.
Iain Emsley​​
Tech Consultant
Iain is a Research Software Engineer at the University of Warwick. He supports digital research infrastructure and works across data, sound, and computation. His background spans e-research, digital humanities, and software development, with experience ranging from radio astronomy to digital culture.
Zoe C. Laryea
Research & Data Analyst​
Zoe is interested in ethical tech and inclusive digital rights. On the DLRT, she is focused on data collection, database organisation, and website development.
Sharla Peters
Research & Legal Analyst (Former)
Sharla Peters is a Data Visualisation student at the University of Warwick with a background in international commercial law and a growing focus on digital rights, legal tech and global policy.
Siya Luo​
Research & Data Analyst
Siya is a research analyst on the DRLT project, contributing to case data structuring and the implementation of interactive features on the website. Her work draws on a background in data-driven storytelling, digital rights research, and platform analysis.
